Lisa Bourlon, LMT is a graduate of East-West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. She is licenced to massage in the state of Oregon. She is certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Lisa has been trained in Deep Tissue Therapies, Myofascial Release (John Barnes, PT), and Sports Rehabilitation Massage and is currently training to become a Certified Neuromuscular Massage Therapist.
Lisa was introduced to the benefits of massage therapy after being injured in a car accident. After incorporating therapeutic massage to her rehabilitation therapies, she began to experience reduced pain and greater ease of movement. Now Lisa is pain free and dedicated to helping her clients find their own freedom from pain and return to their daily life.
Lisa also balances her massage career with her passion for prenatal and postnatal massage and has recently trained to become a certified infant massage instructor which allows her to teach parents the ancient art of bonding and communicating with their children.
When Lisa is not massaging, you can find her with her husband and two daughters somewhere in Oregon’s outdoor playground enjoying white water rafting, hiking the trails to hot springs, searching for treasures at the beach or snow tubing down the hill at Mount Hood. She also loves to read and discover all of the unique little restaurants hidden throughout Portland.
Lisa Bourlon is Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork.
