STOTT PILATES® is a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates. Merrithew Health & Fitness™ founders Lindsay and Moira Merrithew, along with a team of physical therapists plus sports medicine and fitness professionals, have spent over two decades refining the acclaimed STOTT PILATES® method of exercise and equipment. This refined method results in the inclusion of modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation – making it one of the safest and most effective methods available.

We also educate on the importance of conditioning the intrinsic muscles that support the joints when lengthening and strengthening the muscular structure. Application of the Five Basic Principles ensures the exercises are implemented with precision and fosters fundamental body awareness. CORE Athletic Conditioning & Performance Training™, when integrated within your STOTT PILATES® programs, will help to jump start your metabolism. CORE targets core strength and focuses on the Basic Principles through functional fitness and kinesthetic awareness.
